Tharseas Acosaphaura Character in The Fruit of War | World Anvil

Tharseas Acosaphaura (Tharr-SEE-us Ah-KO-sah-FOW-rah)

Eba-Nalir

Tharseas was the eldest son of Devatska and Eraleon Acosaphaura. Along with his brother Tesperu he was a member of the Nalir of the Itoqir; both he and Tesperu would die in the Tikkiss Skirmish that marked the beginning of the War of the Six, with the nature of their involvement being the subject of much debate and controversy -- so much so that the morality and loyalty of the entire Acosaphaura family is mired in suspicion and disgust to the present day.   Regardless, Tharseas was the spitting image of his father and a talented and spirited Nalir soldier with a solid career both behind and ahead of him, having achieved the rank of Eba-Nalir prior to his death. Although stoic and tending toward solitude, he inherited his parents' drive for justice and duty and easily inspired others. He was often seen with Tesperu, who held him in especially high regard in place of their father.   Devatska referred to him as her 'gallant one'.
