The Storm Coast

A rain and wind lashed region of Successor Kingdoms. Storms and snow blow in from The Northern Sea and make landfall here. The coast is largely lined by steep hills, though there are breaks in this crest where trade and fishing ports have grown. The Kingdom of Semiona and its Duchy of Kivoga have close connections to The Lakecountry and the mildest weather. Redport is the largest city of the entire region, and ships routinely sail to and from Catarannos. The Principality of Everhal has long suffered by its Lakecountry neighbors. Free Tannog won its independence, and Kingdom of Bolsrend seized the western banks of The Grey River. The Principality of Troding is largely isolated from the rest of Successor Kingdoms, and weathers the worst of the storms. Storm Coasters are a hardy people. Capable of defending themselves and what's theirs. The have a cultural aversion to powerful leaders, and Kings and Princes of The Storm Coast cannot command the same loyalties as those in The Lakecountry or The Ruvian Empire.
