Greyfalls

This large city is named for its many waterfalls. It's location at the confluence of many rivers gives it strategic and economic importance. Vessels are lowered and raised along the falls as needed. The Dranin River flows through the city. It is joined by The Khurdan Run and The Dimanz River. The Dranin River eventually flows into Grey Lake and from there to The Vamman Bay.

Industry & Trade

River Barges from upriver often dock here. The city serves as a rest stop for the bargers, or to transfer cargo into Lake Boats. The crane fees to traverse the waterfalls are modest, but contribute significantly to the city's wealth. Overland trade makes its way from Port Abzee and is transferred to vessels here.

Infrastructure

A series of cranes and pulleys are capable of lifting vessels up or down any of the city's many waterfalls. These are ingeniously designed and well maintained. Waterwheels power some of these devices.
