Port Vamona

The City is the largest in The Successor Kingdoms and is the center of ocean trade for the region. River Barges and Lake Boats come down the Grey River and transfer cargo to Sea Vessels at the port. Port Vamona shares Vamman Bay with Penzstedt City and Snakebell. The latter is barely visible on the horizon on a clear day.

Government

Ruled directly by the king, with significant influence by a council of wealthy merchant-nobles. The day to day business is largely left to the council.

Industry & Trade

Prodigious amounts of water-borne trade occur here. Trade flows to and from the The Lakecountry at this port. It also serves as a common port of call for trade involving The Eager Isles.

Infrastructure

A maze of bridges and ferries cross the river delta.

Geography

The Grey River flows into The Vamman Bay at the site of Port Vamona. The river spreads into a wide delta, and the city straddles the multitude of islands.

Natural Resources

Salt is harvested from the estuary. This is one of the settlement's first and strongest exports.
