Talviridin
Talviridin is an archetypal realm which belongs to the geometry known as the Ghost Worlds. It is also part of the Twilight Realms.
Talviridin has a questionable relationship to linear history although it was once an evolution. Just like the Consumed World, a significant catastrophe appears to have pushed it out of the domain of time. Worlds such as these two are proof to the Stability Council that evolutionary status can certainly be lost and when they consider the possible future of realms such as Magicians' End, which teetered on the brink of a similar fate after the Planar Conformation (and maybe at other vulnerable times too) they serve as a chilling example that the worst can happen.
Climate
The Laws of Form that govern this realm seem to mandate a narrow range of temperatures across a wide swaith of the twilight land. Across the length of the Old Cold Canal, which is the only region of the planet that is ever visited in these times, it seldom or never rises above ten degrees celcius, but equally it doesn't fall much below minus five. The long term average is only a little above freezing. The air is very often still, but winds from unseen distant seas in the east and south can bring fresh snowfalls with sufficient frequency that the woodland is rarely free of it. The canal can and does freeze on occasion but the ice is never thick.
