Sunset Coast

"The Sunset Coast is located along the shores of Callaern, located between northern region of Eberras and the southern region of Preica. The land is dotted with many town, cities and city states that trace their history back to before the Fall of Parretoa. Several city-states dominate the Sunset Coast, with the cities of Assaen, Forlaith, Eadain and Daireen as the most powerful and influential ones. Other cities hold significant power in these lands as well, though they are much less significant in the greater Republic of Callaern. Throughout history these cities have risen and fallen, locked in a constant struggle for power and control. Since the birth of the republic, the rise of mercantilism and the increased reliability of sea routes, these cities have transformed into large trade hubs. Many of the cities trace their origins back to before the Eternal Twilight, though little of before that time actually survived. Many of the buildings and landmarks of these cities were built by their Burbric overlords during the time of the Burbric Empire. After the fall of the empire and under the rule of the Callaeran kings, the cities deteriorated. It was only after the Magistrates turned their attention to the neglected south that these cities started to blossom again. After the discovery of new sea routes and a new world across the Endless Sea many of the cities have gotten caught up in a race to establish the first relations and pick the fruits of this new discovery."
