Season 4, Episode 3: "Heat of the Forge, Part 2" Report
General Summary
The Dream Team charged across the crust of the Forge, kicking down the door to Corporal Taxus's compound, and opening fire against his cronies.
The battle was a drawn out one, as the Aspis Consortium had barricaded themselves behind mounds of crates and riot structures, utilizing a built-in missile launcher and a swarm of drones to keep the party out of the skies. Of note, a Skittermander mercenary by the name of Lollipop gave Mist a decent amount of trouble, as Chamas recognized the cohort of soldiers present on the planet, and began hunting ferociously for an old "friend" -- Ross. Meanwhile, Lockette stuck her fingers into the warehouse's technology, making the drones work for her, as Tesin put herself in front of the professional heavies. With Abelina on support, this left Isra to focus on Gregar Taxus, aided by her Solarion ally.
With the mysterious Shard of Ignorance in hand, Isra put the fury of her people behind her sword arm, and landed the final blow. She severed Gregar's limbs from his body, healing him just enough to keep him from dying, and then the group cleaned house. With the dust settling, Isra looked desperately for the prize of this dangerous assault, just as a closet door slid open on damaged hinges, revealing Cromwell.
Cromwell was alive.

Notes
I spent over an hour just putting together/drawing the battle map for this (it took up the entire table, the dramatic teaser does it no justice), and at least 3-4 hours compiling statblocks and getting the mercenary-minded Consortium working just right. Probably one of my favorite fights this campaign!
