Ragarot Character in The Centurion's Riddle | World Anvil

Ragarot

Ragarot

Ragarot, also known as the White Owl, is a disfigured Fey sworn to the betterment of mankind. He is the victim and enemy of the Gorgon, the husband of Che, and currently works for Ferro as a player in his G.O.L.A.R.I.O.N. team.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Like most Fey, Ragarot may appear human on the surface, but is confused by mortal emotions and logic. When threatened, it appears he can turn parts of his body into black tentacles, scaling to a mass equivalent to a 40-50 ft. cube. However, this is incredibly taxing for him, and likely can only be done a few times a week without harming himself.   When Balio asked what kind of Fey Ragarot was, he stated that he didn't know anymore.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Ragarot was discovered by Mining Team 6 while escaping the Gorgon's Cell. The creature got trapped there searching for the Gorgon (in particular, Mikhael), and is incredibly antagonistic towards the man. In later discussions, Ragarot explained that the Gorgon is the source of his facial malady, and currently holds his wife captive. After escaping the Jasper, Ragarot continued his journey to search for his nemesis, but was diverted by his father-in-law Chess, who demanded that Ragarot work with Ferro, despite having a G.O.L.A.R.I.O.N. team in the Chessboard Conclave.
