Gradvon Earle

(a.k.a. Aper)

Gradvon Earle was once a member of the Imperial Navy, having served as a captain aboard several important vessels of the First Fleet.
It was thought that he had died several years ago during a secret operation for the Seekers of the Arcane. His death had been a ruse however, and he had in fact defected to The Flock. There are claims that he is a double-agent and remains loyal to the Cerulean Empire, but his true loyalties remain vague.
Gradvon is the father of Atticus Barron, who was born illegitimately out of wedlock to Martha Barron. To avoid the scandal of such a high-ranking Imperial officer Atticus and his mother were sent to the care of Helena Oberhelm.
During his time with The Flock Gradvon was given the codename "Aper", and used by the Kenku organisation as a spy in human territories.

Appearance and Mannerisms

Gradvon is tall and extremely well-built. His face shows the signs of a hard life at sea, weather-beaten and wrinkled, and he wears a long scraggly beard.
He looks very much like an older version of Atticus.
Gradvon likes to smoke expensive cigars from the isles of The Southern Chain.

Notable Achievements

Gradvon Earle had an illustrious career with the Imperial Navy, and was responsible for several famous victories against piratical shipping.

Ex-agent of the Seekers of the Arcane, now a member of the Flock. Also, Atticus' father.
