The Ezanian slaugther
The Ezanian slaugther eh? Well that battle may possibly be the shortest and most one sided battle in history, hence the name. But it shouldn't be called the Ezanian slaugther. That name can lead to confusion since it wasn't the Ezanians who won, it was Envoqutians family who slaugthered the Ezanians. Can you believe it? While the Envoqutians had an army of fourty thousands, The Ezani Empire sent a hundred thousand men, A hundred thousand! And still, The Envoqutians won, killing over eigthy-nine thousands soldiers from the Ezanian army! Just imagine going with a hundred thousand menn to battle against fourty thousands and coming home with just eleven thousand. And the worst of it, the Ezanians lost only four thousand men. They had an amry of forty thousand soldiers and went against an army of one hundred thousand soldier and only lost four thousand soldiers. The Envoqutians. If i was a general and found out they were my opponent i would just run away. I mean it, there is no shame retreating against them. They are truly unstopable.
The Conflict
Prelude
In response to The March on Brutan, The Holy Ezani Empire sent 100 000 soldiers down to retake Brutan and capture the Envoquti family. The Envoqutian army's reputation and status lead to commanders refuse to attack out of respect or fear. Not able to find someone to lead the national army the emperor Marcus Julius Brutus decided to lead the army himself. Originally the fact that all the commanders refused to join the coming battle downed he morale of the soldiers, but this changed when the emperor himself chose to lead the army. Doubt was still in some soldiers minds some even planned to run when the battle starts but overall the army felt pretty confident thinking that the envoqutian army could not possibly win over an army double its size. Knowing that the empire most certainly was going to try to retake Brutan and that the city is a trading hub connected to the rest of the word so a siege wouldn't work, the Envoqutian army expected the Ezani empire to send an army with a greater number than they had.
