The ancients
The world is set after a reset where homo sapiens has branched of too different races with different abillities/enhancements. the known part of the world has long been under very few nations with one empire taking up half of the continent. This changed when the empire collapsed leaving the continent with a power vaccum. creating chaos and wars, lots of wars.
