The Conflict
Prelude
After a series of restrictions given by Marcus Julius Brutus for the Envoqutian army, Ason Yerenov Envoquti decided to take over Brutan to protect the family. In October 427 A.E.C Ason discutes with Ortuan to plan how to move the envoqutian army discretly to Brutan.

The first two days was dry, warm with a clear sky making some of the Ezanian soldiers who was lined up in front of Brutan's walls faint of dehydration. However the weather quickly changed to a constant fall of rain; It wasn't long til the dry earth changed to mud. By the end of the siege, it looked like the ground had always been a swamp despite having been an almost desert like dry ground only weeks earlier.
The Engagement
8th June 428
The Envoqutian army consisting of about 37,000 soldiers is assembled in a forest 10 km from Brutan. A messenger is sent with a request that the commander of Brutan withdraws and abandons Brutan.
The commander refuses and sends back the messenger with a message saying "You wouldn't dare ".
(The number of guard in Brutan was between 400 and 700 soldiers.)
A force of 10,000 soldiers was sent by the Envoqutian army to besiege Brutan. 7 vessels belonging to the Flaviana family block the port of Brutan.
A large party of the guards who guard Brutan demand that the commander withdraw. The request is refused again and the commander warned that anyone who wants him to retire will be brought back to the court of war. The Envoqutian army sends 20,000 more soldiers leaving the remaining 7,000 soldiers to build a camp in the forest.

The 20,000 soldiers arrive in front of the Brutan wall and form into three groups of 10,000 soldiers forming a semicircle around the city. the group who wanted the commander to withdraw, begins to devise plans to remove the commander by force and open the gates.
15th June 428
90% of the guards are unofficially against the commande. The commander begins rationing resources in the city.
16th June 428
The guards attack the commander to remove him from power. The attack causes 4 dead and 10 wounded.
17th June 428
20 000 of the Envoqutian army marches in to the city of Brutan and starts to prepare for the coming Ezanian conflict by organizing the oil transported by the Flavian ships.
Outcome
The Envoquti family controlls Brutan and has become a traitor in Ezani. In order to maintain seat as emperor Marcus Julius Brutus is forced to start a war against the Envoqutian family
