Commonwealth of Man
Structure
The Commonwealth of Man is a republic, with representatives from every council of nations that push the interests of humanity, including colonial councils from colonies outside of Earth. Two Consuls are elected by all coalitions, who serve as the elected leaders and the representative face of humanity. The Chief Consul serves as the leader, while the Consul serves as his second in command.
Public Agenda
The goal of the Commonwealth is to maintain the preservation and advancement of the human race.These mandates are fulfilled by any means necessary. This includes but is not limited to:
- A cautious xeno policy
- Destruction of native xeno populations to benefit Earth
- Maintaining a strong and ready military, to defend humanity's interest and to protect its allies.
- Using technology to advance the human race forward.

Military
Main Article: Commonwealth Armed Forces The Commonwealth has fine tuned its military in its wars against the Galakorians. The Commonwealth follows a doctrine that focuses on massive dreadnoughts fielding extremely powerful kinetic cannons, supported by carriers, cruisers, and frigates. The Commonwealth ground forces use small unit tactics assisted by mechanized walkers and IFVs to dominate and own the ground. It uses a variety of air assets to ensure air superiority.Wealth
Thanks to an discovery of a huge stockpile of Tethaetine on several planets within Sol system, Humanity secured a great wealth. It also expanded its stockpile in several raids against Galakorian colonies.History
Humanity, from their beginning, has been a race of individualists and warmongering people. Humanity has always seen war as the answer to their problems. It was war that shaped their nations, shaped their people, and shaped their lives.
In 400 AD, the Roman Empire had seemed to be on its last legs. It owned nearly all of the known world, it was by far the largest single power Earth had ever seen. However, internal conflict, invaders and other contributing factors caused a decline of the Empire. Despite all of this, the Roman Empire was able to withstand the tide of a world changing around it under the leadership of Emperor Aurelian, who established a dynasty that would remove corruption and weakness within the Empire. To this day, Rome survives.
With Rome no longer in control of regions such as Gaul, Britannia, Iberia, and countless other regions, these regions would become christian Kingdoms under God, given divine authority from the Papal powers to govern themselves.
From here, nations would rise and grow normally, minus nations within the Empire’s border. Germany would develop much slower, under constant attacks until the unification of Germany in 1871. This would make Germany into a single powerful country.
Easily the most advanced nation in all of Earth, Rome remained neutral in World War one, due to internal conflicts, the Romans saw it wise to fix these problems before engaging in warfare. By the time they were fixed, the war was over.
The United States of America was proving to become an effective empire across the Atlantic ocean. While they joined the war late, they were the final nail in the coffin for the Central Powers, who were just gaining the upper hand. 800,000 fresh American troops paved a way to victory in Europe.
During the Great Depression, Rome, drawing from the revolutions of America and France centuries prior, would have a revolution of its own. The Aurelian Dynasty would fall out of grace with the people of Rome, and once again, it’s empire was in peril. Eventually, the people would rise against the empire itself, and the people were joined by the legions. In 1938, the Imperial Palace was stormed, and Emperor Quintus was killed, the last Emperor of the Roman Empire. The Republic was restored once again.
World War 2 began in 1939, and Germany had formed a powerful alliance with the Tsardom of Russia and the Kingdoms of Hungary and Romania. The allies were outnumbered and outmatched by these adversaries, until the SPQR joined the war, fighting for the allies. World War 2 would end in a bloody allied victory.
For the next 100 years, the nations of Earth would continue to grow at a steady rate. In 2048, the first ship capable of quick travel within the Sol system was devised. It was capable of reaching nearby Mars in a matter of a day, making the once intangible goal of space colonies and exploits a reality.
When the nations of Earth first realized they were able to colonize other planets, a decision was made to form a representative body for all of humanity and the nations of earth across the stars. In 2050, the Commonwealth of Man was born. It’s primary purpose was to act as a council governing Humanity across the stars and ensuring the cooperation of the nations of Earth.
However, this serene moment in history was coming to a quick halt. With tensions growing on Earth between nations, a new enemy that humanity could not have been prepared for struck with intent.
Humanity came into contact with the Galakorian League in 2106 in the system of Ferra Prime. Humanity invited the Galakorians onto the HSV Michigan, however once the Galakorians boarded, they began to slaughter the crew onboard, as their fleets moved to engage the colonial fleet, which was defeated.
When news reached the Commonwealth, the war fleets were rapidly deployed, and troops were mobilized. The Galakorians had begun an invasion of the colony of New Hanover, and human colonial forces began guerilla tactics to maximize their successes, however many humans were killed in the conflict. When the Commonwealth arrived, it had brought with it a huge fleet that easily defeated the small Galakorian fleet. Reinforcements landed planet side, and the Galakorians were killed.
The Commonwealth would continue to fight its attackers, and the First Contact War between the humans and Galakorians would continue for twenty years, until humanity launched a successful invasion of Galakor, thus ending the war.

The Commonwealth encompasses 15.4 billion people across Earth and all colonies.
