HSV Rubicon
"Clever name, isn't it?"The HSV Rubicon is a Frigate class ship within the Commonwealth of Man , and it is specifically designed to be used by the Commonwealth Vanguards . It is a top of the line, cutting edge Frigate that utilizes prototype technology to give the Vanguards an advantage during their operations. It is currently used by the 1st Vanguard Independent Reconnaissance Centuria.

Power Generation
The Rubicon is powered by a Reltalis Power Core, which is a massive, oversized power core that outputs huge levels of energy needed for the smaller frigate class ship to maintain the high demands of the Rubicon.
Propulsion
The Rubicon's main propulsion is thanks to eight huge thrusters, utilizing advanced technology to output more energy with less strain than any other ship of its class.

Main Gun
The HSV Rubicon is armed with a state of the art Everest Cannon, which is a modified dreadnought cannon that runs along the bottom of the ship for 100 meters. The HSV Rubicon has the most powerful main gun of any non-dreadnought class ship.Pilum Torpedoes
The Rubicon is fitted with Pilum Torpedoes, powerful seeking torpedoes capable of ripping into an enemy ship's hull and then detonating its explosive warhead after it has broken through the armor.Rocketry
The Rubicon is armed with Swarmer Rockets. Swarmer rockets are used when the Rubicon finds an adversary with impressive point defense capability. Testudo Armor Plating
The Rubicon is fitted with Testudo Armor technology, which is many layers of strong, durable metals, with layers between each armor designed to absorb impact. The Testudo plating is typically too heavy to place onto lighter ships such as the Rubicon, but thanks to the Rubicon's impressive propulsion and powering technology, the platform can be sustained.Klauber Shielding Technology
The Rubicon is fitted with state of the art shielding technology that allows it to deflect basic ballistic weaponry, as long as the shields are not placed under too much pressure. Torpedoes are effective at breaking the shielding tech, and therefor should be avoided by utilizing the Rubicon's point defense systems. The Rubicon is one of ten ships within the Commonwealth with shielding technology.Moriai Point Defense System
The MPDS system is the most advanced system of point defense in the Commonwealth, and has higher capacity and capability to engage more incoming targets and larger target such as torpedoes with great success.Communication Tools & Systems

Emergency Life Support Systems
The Rubicon is fitted with an Emergency Life Support System, if the hull is breached, the Rubicon and sustain life support for up to eight hours on the entire ship. In extreme cases, the system can be overridden by a commanding officer, allowing just the bridge to be sustained. By doing this, the Rubicon can survive for just under one week on emergency life support.Hangars & docked vessels

Layout
The Rubicon is divided into four decks.Deck 01
Deck 01 contains the Bridge, Chow Hall, Research Lab, Airlock, Conference Room, Memorial Wall, and additional offices.
Deck 02
Deck 02 is where most of the crew and Vanguards on board of the HSV Rubicon will spend most of their time. It contains the medical facility, barracks, lounge, armory, CO Quarters, and the Main Battery.
Deck 03
Deck 03 contains the entrance to the hanger and an on-ship firing range.
