Basic Information

Anatomy

As a part of the uplift process, the ancestors of the uplifted orangutans were altered to be bipedal. Their legs are still stubbier and their arms are still longer, but they primarily move around on two legs and their backs are straighter with a less pronounced slouch. They have melanistic skin and ginger-to-auburn hair that covers most of their bodies.

Behaviour

Uplifted orangutans tend to be 'people pleasers,' who place themselves in a heirarchy and rarely seek to be highly placed in it. They tend to be diligent and task-oriented.
They are mostly peaceful, though most are capable of violence to protect their loved ones or coworkers.
