King Eyondis Karmaline III
King of Evermere and member of the The Karmaline Dynasty . His throne is in the capital of Evvorgard.
He is known as a firm king, but is for the most part considered fair handed and is well liked. He had a great deal of support at his ascension to the throne in 3214 because 5 years earlier he had won the The Breen War, so much so that the national mourning of his father, King Eyondis Karmaline II was greatly overshadowed by the celebrations of his crowning.
His reign has been largely very stable, with the exception of the usual maritime skirmishes with Andoria typical of every rule since the end of the Andorian Empire. His overwhelming performance during the The Breen War won him a lot of respect both as a ruler and a military general. It was some 18 years later until he truly had to flex his military muscles again when he led an army against Charles Armunak during The Armunak Uprising, in which he quite decisively squashed the revolt.
The biggest controversy surrounding him are his 3 wives, for Polygamy is not legal in the countries of the The Larimar Concord, but after somehow garnering support from the Church of the Wheel his second and eventually third marriages were blessed. Some have expected the laws to change in line with this, but they have not. Polygamy remains illegal in Evermere, at least it does for everyone except Eyondis III.
