The Breen War

The The Breen Isles have long been a heavily fortified country for it's relatively small size. Since the formation of the The Larimar Concord, they are first in line to get raided by Orcs from the western continent of Ormsthrall and so it sttod to reason that the other countries would pledge more military aid and money for defences so they might repel them before they could reach any of the other countries. However in 3204, after several centuries of beig beaten back several of the tribes of Ormsthrall united under the banner of the Warlord Godhruck Kothricnk and invaded the archipelago state, taking control after mere days of coastal combat.
So began the Breen wars which lasted for 4 years, the fighting was bloody and the Orc reinforcements seemed endless, more and more tribes setting sail to join Godhruck's army.
The then prince Eyondis Karmaline led the war from the front despite being only 17 when it started. He fought valiantly and commanded the armies against the invaders who were more organised than they had ever been before, even at the fall of Druewick in 1344. Though it was a bloody war of atrition, which cost many lives and ships Eyondis did eventually push back the raiders.
