History
The ruler of Valonians are dated back to the early day of Valonians. After banishing from Knirk, the immigrant leader, Val, chose to become the king of the newly found Valone at the end of Dirwen River. Along with his friends, then the founder of six royal families, formed the country.
The title continued for four hundred years until it eventually stopped in 30 BVE in the reign of Ike III after his defeat against the empire they came from. The revenge of his son, Valus, brought back the title under the new name - the emperor.
The Ring of Val
The most obvious symbol of the emperor is the Ring of Val. It's for the emperor only, and no one allows to wear this even in their own bloodline. It must be worn for the rest of their life and must be pulled out as soon as they die. While looking for the new heir or in the regency, no one also allows to touch it. It has to be stored in a secret place until the next coronation.
Oo, I love the history and traditions associated with this. The marriage to one of the six families. The ring. So interesting! :)
