Grey Royal Family
An old noble family on Pax. Known to be good to their people, including the other nobility, the Greys have earned a reputation for trying to be fair, and just, in all their dealings.
That has become more and more complicated, as time has gone on. The Cotnor Royal Family seized the throne in 5576NG, and ever since, things have been going downhill. What once was a thriving and rambunctious market economy slowly transitioned to what is now a total command financial state, and the Greys have been leading the resistance to the regime's oppressive policies and laws.
Structure
Typical feudal system except for critical differences in the tax codes, and certain inalienable rights.
Culture
They are just, and try to raise children who ask questions and try to relate to their people.
Public Agenda
To lead audaciously, and full throatedly defend the gods given rights of their people.
Assets
Tonnages of gold, silver and platinum have been confiscated by the High King; the taxes and GDP of an entire realm have been funnelled into the Royal Treasuries for disbursement.
