Aasimar

He looked from face to face yet seemed utterly disinterested. He spoke without inflection and radiated a faint light that illuminated our shaded shop. It was hard to look him in the eyes, all 4 of them, they just seemed... unsettling. We gave him what he asked for and he left. Thank the gods for that. Creepy fellow.

Those with ties to creatures of angelic light and radiant souls are members of the Aasimar sub-race. Much like Tieflings, their celestial bloodlines can manifest themselves in a variety of ways ranging from hairless-ness, faint blue or turquoise skin, and pulses of light beneath their skin to simply oddly colored hair. Aasimar are often regarded as etherically beautiful but unsettlingly uncanny.

Celestial Guide

Unlike Tieflings, the celestial ancestors of an Aasimar often make themselves known in order to gently influence an Aasimar towards kindness, discipline, and chivalry. While this often makes Aasimar the most righteous and wise of their peers, with access to a source of information beyond their own years, it can also lead to a host rejecting their guide in an act of extreme rebellion as the pressure levied on them grows to heavy.

Free and Bound

Aasimar are often treated well by the typical pedestrian, their sacred ancestry often suggests a benevolent spirit and even a manifestation of their god's power. While an Aasimar might enjoy the comforts given them, they are also expected to excell beyond their peers and act as bastions that breaks through the darkness, a responsibility that weighs heavy upon them.
