Damon Arbiter

An enigmatic figure for most, a focus of fury for some, a mystery to all. Damon's origins are shrouded in mystery, the details lost to time with no answers forthcoming. What is known is that he is the founder and master of the Altean Army and a powerful Shaper with additional gifts from members of The Pantheon, including immunity to damage (but not the pain from said damage) and an increased intellect for engineering purposes. He designed the templates for all of the Altean Army's Mechans and many of their armaments. When he can, he personally leads the fight against Angor's Diezens with flame and fervor.

He is well toned with muscle, though still somewhat thin.

Special abilities

• An unusually high aptitude with Maiga manipulation, particularly with fire.
• An unnatural immunity to physical damage, however any pain from an injury is still felt. Over time, recklessness and desensitization have given him a very high pain tolerance.
• Has a great affinity with machinery and weaponry, though lacks exceptional intellect in other areas.
• Has learned to use his own internal maiga and turn it into a weapon he calls "Soul Saber". Its actual form and function are as varied as his imagination, giving him a very unpredictable fighting style.

Apparel & Accessories

Typically wears flexible pants and a military-style longcoat. Should that coat get destroyed or ruined, he wears an Altanite weave vest underneath. A light blue Matrix Maigum on a silver necklace is always seen on his neck.

• Formed the Altean Army, designing the majority of its mechan soldiers and their equipment. This includes J6, Kashii, and Sasha.
• Has gotten the Army recognized as an extraterritorial force by the major nations of Tarsis and is granted operational autonomy within their borders.
• Has personally saved countless lives from disaster and Diezen attacks.

Failures & Embarrassments

• Is often blamed for being the root cause behind Diezen attacks, is often derided as "Demon" for its similarity to his name.
• For every life saved, another is lost beyond his reach, sometimes before his eyes. Damon shoulders every soul he's failed, and the burden is immense on his conscience.
• At a random time once per month, he will lose his invulnerability and shaper powers for a period of 24 hours.
