Jason
Jason (short for "Jason Mk. VI") is the Altean Army's third hyper-advanced mechan unit, filling the role of mobile fire support. A peerless master marksman and gunsmith, Jason handles firearm development for the Army. His skills and precision are offset by a curt, cold demeanor and a loose adherence to the Army's mission of the preservation of life. A mechan of few words and direct methodology, he is a looser cannon than Damon would like, but a reliable combatant nonetheless.
Physical Description
Body Features
He is made of a lighter than average Altanite alloy painted brown with burgundy on the undersides of his limbs. A thicker and heavier altanite plate covers his chest and lower face. Instead of the usual lit eye display, a black visor two inches in height goes across the eye region of his head. On his heels are built-in spurs.
Apparel & Accessories
Typically wears a cloak concealing his arms and torso along with a wide-brimmed hat for no reason other than personal preference. While he always has a paired set of holsters for his revolvers, the amount of straps, ammo belts and holsters on the rest of his body varies depending on task. When fully equipped, it could be said he is festooned with guns, having one each on his shins, thighs, upper arms, underarms, two on the small of his back, and up to eight in various places around his waist, in addition to his rifle and another possible weapon slung on his back.
Three weapons stand out to truly mark Jason as a formidable marksman; the revolvers Justice and Retribution, and the rifle Redeemer.
Specialized Equipment
The burgundy regions of his forearms are concealed hinged panels protecting miniature articulated arms for the purpose of reloading a magazine-fed gun in each hand. Either a single long magazine or two pistol-sized magazines can be stored per arm.
When locked in a neutral position, Jason can produce 8" altanite spikes from the bottom of his heels. He uses these as both anchors and weapons, keeping his footing on unstable terrain or planting it into the ground to make a hairpin turn on his bike. This also leaves his hands free to use his firearms and still engage in close quarters combat.
