Draconian
As ancient as it sounds
"Xhygtt baar kaahthaozogtt byggt Draconia nogõnaeisyy, boong biikh bygtt mmohh Bahamutt, gookhexh sithingõn thingõnaeisyy hhoontiiknoommaexh yiikaany, biippii bygtt thyyaongaozz zyyny gaobeo nybõnae ngaammaabõn khyyppooõnaeisyy, xhygtt boobtt hhaeimmohh ssyyl nybõnyeng nyodõn xhaeil."
"And as Draconia burned behind her, brought to its end by the king Bahamut, the Dragon Queen smiled a wicked grimace, for she knew this would only make her stronger, and the realms would soon be hers."
~Excerpt from The Book of Creation
Writing System
Modern Draconian uses the Common Alphabet as a result of the large population of dragonborn on Tarroc, though most dragons still use the original Draconian Alphabet, which is made up of simple glyphs, usually made with between 3-5 straight lines, similar to the design of the Crevalian Alphabet.
Geographical Distribution
Draconian was originally spoken in Draconia, though since its collapse, it is spoken by dragons and dragonborn beings, scattered across the multiverse. The largest population of Draconian-speakers on Tarroc resides in Kerala.

As Draconian is descended from Celestial, its word order is most typically Object-Subject-Verb, though in practice there is much variation, especially in casual speech and music. Prepositions are used in favor of postpositions, and adjectives tend to be placed before the noun that they modify, though these "rules" too are broken more often than not. Subject-auxiliary inversion is used in the formation of questions.
