The Book of Creation

Before the Dawn of Creation, the gods wished the Tarrocians not to understand their existence; not to understand how or why they came to be. As a part of the peace treaty of the God Wars, it was decided by Grumbar that the Tarrocians should know their history. Thus, his son Ampius, first king of the giants , was chosen to write the tale.

Purpose

The Book of Creation tells the story of Tarroc's creation, from its chaotic beginnings, through the entire history of the God Wars, until its birth in the year 1 of the First Era.

Historical Details

Background

The Book of Creation was written as part of the God Wars Treaty, which ended the 3,000-year feud and brought Tarroc into existence.

History

After the God Wars ended, the Book of Creation was written by Ampius the Pious, Son of Grumbar to detail the events that led to Tarroc's creation. All 3,00 years of history, the creation of every species known to exist, and the details of Tarroc's existence before the God Wars are scribed within the book, which spans 3,000 pages - one for every year. The original text was written in Celestial, though Ampius took pity on the mortals, who could not understand the language of the gods, and translated it for them.

Public Reaction

When the races were placed on Tarroc, each sentient being was granted one copy of the Book of Creation, to be read by their own free will. Most accepted the word as fact, though some were outraged and confused, forgoing the tales presented to them in favor of their own wild ideas.

Legacy

The Book of Creation is accepted as fact by the majority of people in Tarroc. In most countries, those who do not believe are seen as heretics and shamed.
