Session 72: Guilty by Association

Sixthday, Fourthden, the Harvest Moon, 748 AC
The party heads back to the Silver Spring Inn through a foggy evening. They are, however, waylaid by mysterious changing coming from the Mandaran Gardens. Once their, the party finds as circle of mysterious robed individuals, a young woman kneeling in their midst. Jabari attempts to interfer but alas, she is too late. One of the chanters plunges a knife into the woman's heart just as the light from Verdun and Mora fill the circle.
A short fight follows, with the robed cultists fleeing into the darkness at the arrival of the Eldorian Legion who promptly arrest Zeb for the murder of the young woman, one Tara Pandari - apparently the daughter of a wealthy merchant. Zeb is carted off to prison and the rest of party is left wondering what they can do to rescue their friend.
