Tall, even for a Dharja, Malik left the Carboth Desert in his youth, seeking fame and fortune aboard a Grennig merchant ship. After spending a few seasons green and ill on the Sea of Storms, he jumped ship and made his way across the Lawless Steppes. Here, he found Katzpütch, with its great herds and more importantly, hungry herders. Leaning on the flavors of his youth he made thrived as a street vendor until his tendency to sell information - most of it straight from his imagination - cost him his head. To this day, many in the City Of Evershifting Streets will refer to a rumor or story that seems completed fabricated as “one of Malik’s tales.”
