Ivan Ironbeard
Khadric Druid of Carboth
With his long beard the color of burnt iron tied into three thick braids and the mop of hair on his head tamed into five more, one might think that Ivan worked deep within the mines of New Kharolin. Beneath his beard, however, his cheeks are a ruddy brown, as if permanently stained by the sun and dust of his Carboth home and the thought of spending any time beneath ground, instead of beneath the bright blue desert sky, gives him the shudders.
Have heard the call of Shar’iish’ta in his youth, he left the Khadric homeland for the Order over two hundreds. He has served in a half-dozen circles, ranging from the deepest Jungles of Kash-pah to the sadly polluted Rheuthen Basin. His favorite post, however, is clearly his current one. He has taken to the open air of the desert like a Dharjan, even going so far as to adopt their love of horses. Dressed in a headscarf and loose robes, he can be found riding one of the powerful creatures from his own heard - bareback, of course.
His only troubles these days are finding help. Few members of the order share his love of the dry heat found in the desert. As such, he constantly seems to be recruiting new members for the circles he oversees, always baffled when he is rebuffed.
