Ingrid Ingriddoterdoterdoterdoterdoterdoterdoter

Small Council Member High Priestess of Intrix

Some Nerrid study aerodynamics and spend their lives obsessing over how to replicate the flight of eagles. Others become masters of geology and learn to shape stone in whimsical yet practical techniques that rival Khadric masters. Still others travel Tarien gathering information for the vast archives of the Nerrid National Library. Ingrid, however, has dedicated her life to studying the behavior of the Nerrid. And the three centuries during which she has actively conducted her research, she has produced volumes of notes, countless theories, and sparked dozens of heated debates about the true nature of Nerrid. One of her works spends at least eight hundred pages trying to differentiate between being - the purpose of existing and being - existing for a purpose.

And while none of the observations or theories will ever send a Nerrid to Verdun or blast away the top of a pesky mountain, it is clear to everyone outside of the Nerrid Alliance that she knows what she is talking about. Its not because her works have peer review approval - they don't - or that they have been published and well-read across the Inner Seas. In fact, outside of the Nerrid Peninsula it is unlike that someone has heard of her. None of that, however, outweighs the obvious evidence that Ingrid has been both high priestess of Intrix and a member of the Small Council of Nerridon for seven score years. How did she attain such lofty heights and, more impressively stay there in what is a notoriously fickle Nerridian political environment? Why her own research of course. And if you have just a moment, she'd be happy to explain her theories. They really are quite simple, after all.
