Igor the Brave
Hero of the Second Elynthi War
Next to Thantherian Styvalhyme, Igor is perhaps the most famous of the heros that ended the Second Elynthi War, freeing the Soulmeliti Forests from ocucpation by the Elanthai Council. A self-made warrior of impressive skill, Igor began his life the son of a farmer in Sedrin, ending it the Duke of Drythe, a tale of heroism to inspire any poor lad or lass.
After learning the art of swordplay at a young age, working as a guard in Drythe, expanding to various adventures around the Inner Seas. Like many caught upon the wrong side of the seige that befall that city, he longed for a way break the siege and earn the hand of the Duke's daughter, the promised reward for any that could aid the city in its plight. As young heros are wont to do, Igor quickly began gathering heros around him and travelled across Tarien until finally assembling the giant golem which he used to smash Elynthi forces the Battle of Drythe.
With his defeat of Kal Moshin Shal'Madogin in single combat, the Battle of Drythe cemented Igor's legacy as a master swordsmen. The following year, his victory at the Battle of Mathe not only cemented his legecy as a general but also evicted the Elynthi from the Prydith Peninsula for good. Between his victories at Mathe and Drythe, he became a hero of both the people of Prydith and the old Duke, easily earning the princesses hand in marriage and eventually the title of Duke himslef.
