Far to the northeast on the evergreen shaded rolling hills of the Merdenkal Peninsula, are the lacquered wooden homes and serine temples of the Elynthi. Almost alien in nature to the short-lived races of the west, its people live their centuries in contemplation and the pursuit of perfection. Other than the slaves they take to work their mines, few from the west ever see its magnificence. And given the terrible tales of dark religions and war on the west, few would have desire to do so.
