Gruegrick's Point
Jutting out into the icy waters of the Gulf of Kharl, this peninsula is a rocky strip of land that represents the closest point between the Underground Kingdom of the Children of Kharl and their former home in Khardin. While exploring the area in the 17th century, BC, Gruegrick Lodestone commentorated the point by taking several months out of his exploration to carve a Khadra looking east, across the water, to his former home. Although Gruerick was no sculptor and had never seen the ancient Khadric home, the statue still seems to convey the sorrow of an entire people. Over the millenia, others have made the pilgrimage to this point to both care for Gruegrick's work and to add sculptures of their own. Today a small army of stone Khadra stand watch on the point among the sea birds and lions that otherwises make the point their home.
