Gruegrick Lodestone

Khadric Explorer

Named or his unerring sense of direction, Gruegrick was one of the early generations of Kharda to live west of the Gulf of Kharl. He spent his life exploring the Rheuthengage Mountains Mountains both above and below ground. His interest in forests was particularly noteworthy and his study of various mountain trees lead to changes in Khadric woodworking - focusing on harder, more durable woods such as maple and ash that better withstood the variations in air found in the Underground Kingdom. It is for these findings the woods east of the Kingdom were named.

His name is also attached to Gruegrick's Point where, when reaching the sea on one of his journeys, he contemplated the proximity and distance between his people and their ancient home. To capture his feels, he carved a life-size statue of a Khadra, looking east across the gulf.

In addition to mapping the many passes and valleys in the mountains, he found several deposits of iron and mithril that became small mines. He was lost, along with hundreds of others, when Torgar was sealed.
