Dono of the Zennonaize Confederacy
The bookish Dono Frent XXII had a mostly forgetful reign, spending it holed up in the magnificent Dono's Palace in central Wargun. Favoring the mansion's library and over its impressive stateroom, he often held audience with councilors and petitioners among his books, indicating with a finger to his mouth that courtiers should respect the sanctity of the library and use softer voices. This tactic actually worked to keep tempers from flaring and his reign was one of peace even if others may have considered it stagnation. The only controversy that it spawned occurred when, a few scant years after his elder brother's unfortunate death on patrol, Frent granted title to orests in which that death occurred to the very same man who commanded the expedition. By this point, however, everyone at court knew the Dono's proclivity for study and peace; making him above suspicion in the death the man who proceeded him to the throne.
