Just ask Captain Nylah, his commanding officer. No one handles a stallion better and his own cavalry company is the finest in all of Wargun's Watchers. Though his Captain might never know it - the crazy woman spends as much time at sea as she does on horseback.
Still, it wouldn’t hurt if he could learn a few more courtly manners. He always seems to find himself using the wrong piece of silver or drinking from the wrong glass on those rare occasions where does manage to get invited to the Old Dono's Palace. And as for dancing, no matter how many lessons he takes he cannot seem to remember his left foot from his right. And that will never do. He grew out his mustache and paid a fortune to have it shaped into two fine curls but Nyx will never speak with him until he can take her out onto the ballroom floor. Her lady’s in waiting said as much. And that’s even with his commanding officer encouraging her.
