Agent Lemming

With frizzy copper hair and nose that many Nerrid would find insulting - a mere three inches long and almost hooked in shape - Bjorn has long made up for his lack of looks with deft hands and fast feet. A superb juggler, he tried his hand a street performer in Gartcha before being recruited into the Nerrid Secret Service in the years just before it’s dissolution. While he had no intentions of joining the service, he changed his mind shortly after being caught by Eldorian Legionnaires increasing the donations made by bystanders at one of his performances; without their knowledge of course. Faced with expulsion from the city his cousin suggested a life of trade might be in order and he immediately began dealing in lemming pelts which, should one gather enough, make fine scarves and hats for a Nerrid.

He plied his trade across the Malpighien Steppes for years until one autumn day he came across the strangest site - hundreds of the small rodents migrating north into Tallwood. Certain he had found an unlikely source of income, he followed the creatures deep in the forest, dodging the trolls for which the area is infamous, until on evening, just as a dark clouds of an early winter storm descended upon him, he watched he quart leap to the deaths off of cliff into the Rjorn River. Despairing, he stayed on the edge of the cliff, contemplating a leap to follow the creatures when, in a swirl of snow he saw a tall, dark haired woman who beckoned him forward with pale white hands.

He was never seen again.
