Vara Treshok
The Vara Treshok are one of the ten Paédor Elf clans in Mirkireth, their capital is Veron. The Vara Treshok are the smallest Paédor clan in Mirkireth, with a total population of around 11,000, they are known best for their impressive archery, as well as their cultivation of rare fungus.
The preferred weapon of the Vara Treshok is the bow, and they are the most gifted archers in the known world, this in part due to the fact they are trained from as young as five to shoot, and they also have exceptional eyesight due to their gloomy home town. A Vara Treshok is not considered a master archer until he or she successfully completes what has become known as the Rithvek trial, in which the individual must shoot and kill a Rithvek Lemur. This is a task that often proves extremely difficult due to the speed and reflexes of the Lemur, as well as the distance to the canopy and the obstacles that the archers must shoot through, climbing into the trees to take the shot is not allowed. Some hopefuls spend years trying to complete the trial, but only the very best succeed. Although many fail, it is still said that even a lesser Treshok archer can thread an arrow through a bracelet at 150 paces.
The Vara Treshok are ruled from Veron by the clan chief who is chosen by the people, this election takes place every 30 years, or when a chief dies. The newly elected chief must then pass a trial, which involves eating the hallucinogenic Haxan Mushrooms. Three elders usually judge this process.

The Vara Treshok are wary of outsiders, and have a history of war with other Paédor clans, so they are just as wary of some clans, although they are on good terms with the Sorak Kroawne and the Mashkra Falk'ah. They do not allow outsiders into their lands without permission, and even with it, the individual is distrusted, and is usually escorted by Vara Treshok Warriors. The fact that the Vara treshok are the smallest clan also makes them wary, and very careful.
The Vara Treshok consider the Varak Rivash to be their rivals, and the two clans have warred in the past, in recent times though the two clans have a reluctant peace, due to their mutual ally, the Sorak Kroawne.
