Duffal Wood

History

The section was an expansion from the original settlement of Mount Ridge. Originally a semi-flat wooded area it was bought cheaply by developer J.M. Duffal for pennies of the dollar. He cut down the "woods" and bulldozed the land flat, and set up a new street grid with the center peice being Redwood Boulevard. All the streets are named after trees, which gives the area it's name Duffal Wood.
It is served by the Twin Mount Branch Line.
The notorious Night Club/Dance Club Club Absolution is located in Duffal Wood. One strange fact has been reported the crime rate in Duffal Wood use to be one of the highest in Mount Ridge, until Club Absolution opened up, and it has been steadily declining, which is bringing more investments and people to Duffal Wood.
