The making, importing, and exporting manufactured and custom made jewelry. Most of the trade is in custom jewelry, with some made mainly for display, but many made on commission.

History

At a separate area, but a few blocks of the Downtown Neighborhood. They are centered on Diamond Street. It was something that grew up organically as artisan jewelry makers set up shop in the small neighborhood. It is one of the most profitable sections of Downtown as yearly even people from the nearby country side and as far as Baltimore, and Washington, D.C. come here for expensive but completely custom made jewelry.
