Ironclad Records
Purpose / Function
A setting where the inhabitants of this area can purchase music and talk with friends. This is a niche store and has a small staff.
Design
A basic rectangular room with some exposed wood beams, and wood trim. There is a small stock room and restroom in the back. There are tables of vinyl records along the center of the floor and shelves along the walls.
Entries
There is a simple glass door that leads in from the street and a door that leads into the back room.
Sensory & Appearance
The room feels lived in and comforting. There is certainly lack of maintenance, but only in the paint has faded and from the past there are stains from when people smoked indoors. The air always has music playing, usually one of the news finds the owner made to bring to the store. Usually there is light conversation about music, or Loser Mike and Stoner Chris talking about random things.
Denizens
The Denizens of Ironclad records is one of it's employees known only as "Loser" Mike, and his friend who hangs out with him, known as "Stoner" Chris.
Contents & Furnishings
A simple check out counter in the back of the building, with a basic cash register. The walls have shelves for cassettes and CDs while center of the room is reserved for homemade tables that hold vinyl records. The walls have various posters of musicians and bands. There is a odd bit of band merchantdise also in the store.
Valuables
There are several rare and valuable vinyl records stored in the store behind glass for sale.
Architecture
Located in the Mercantile District of Mount Ridge. The building is early art-deco, with large windows on the bottom floor. The middle unit is Ironclad Records, and above the door is a fading and ancient neon sign that has the name "Ironclad Records".
History
Ironclad Records is located on Merchant Lane near Seacoast Avenue. It is located on a first floor of an old mercantile building.
