At first Sammantha and Gretal had a positive relationship that every child has with their mother, though Sammantha allowed her to do a lot of things, Gretal will at least listen to her requests. But Gretal seems distant from Sammantha after a while, missing Dash and Shikoi more than her parents as they were usually busy and left Shikoi to accompany her and her sisters, though Dash would also be busy, Gretal loves playing pranks on her and always gets her to drop her work, since they were in a time of peace and play or train with her. Though Sammantha never thought any lesser of Gretal, always praising and proud of her, looking after her during the time between Magical Warriors and Trinary, but she doesn't tell Gretal everything either, though she can be torn with Gretal and her duty, she is known to be distracted or urgue for Gretal's case, even going so far as to defend her from accusations of using Black Magic to conceive a child
