Karnian Royal Family
The Karnian Royal Family has ruled over Karnes for nearly a millennia, going all the way back to the founding monarchs King Alfric I and Queen Meliaria. These two adventurers, with support from their allies, unified the diverse populations and communities of Karnes and established many of the institutions which maintained the kingdom for centuries. Because of the Salissian Elven origin of the first Queen, the line has long contained a trace of elven heritage, possessing a slightly more than human gracefulness and longevity.
The reign of the Karnian Royal Family was brought to a close by the Morin Regime coup, driving the last two scions of the line into exile.
Before its fall, the Karnian Royal Family maintained ties with a number of nearby and far flung lands including Salissia, the Dwarven Drek'Thar, Augustford and Demra.
