Karnian Major Pantheon

When the Deity Aether needed assistance in forming the world-Seal Soma she drew together other major deities from across The Astral Sea. They were reborn as a new pantheon to forever safeguard Tiamat's prison and shepherd the people who would populate the world.
This collection of deities represents the highest power at work in Soma. By their very being they regulate the fundamental principles that allow life and existence to function. Because of this macro level perspective, these grand deities rarely intervene in mortal affairs except for particularly dire circumstances. Many mortals worship them regardless but it is understood in a more deistic sense, acknowledging without necessarily any expectation of miracle or intervention.
These deities theoretically regulate all lesser, regional and tribal deities. They function at a level of near omnipotence, especially as regards their particular aspect or portfolio. Only a completely mad lesser deity would oppose one of the Major Pantheon.
