Augustford (Kingdom)
Augustford is a prosperous nation of high, craggy mountains and rolling green hills. They are well known for their vast herds of prized Mabinogion Sheep. Utilizing ancient techniques inherited from their Mabinogi ancestors they produce some of the finest wool goods in the world, already primed for enchantment. The royal family of Augustford are descended from the tribal chiefs of the Mabinogi, tracing their line back for centuries.
Augustford is an ancient ally of the Karnian Royal Family and has continued to aid them in their Resistance since the Morin coup. This has caused some tensions with their longtime coastal neighbor and trading partner Albimonte. With the death of George Thunderlord and the installation of a new more democratic government these tensions have eased and the regular passage of wheat, mutton and wool across their seas has resumed.
There are many rumors related to the Mabinogi, tales of ancient artifacts and secret magics known only to the Augustford Royal Family. Whether any of these have particular merit is unknown to anyone outside the family and their closest confidants.
