King Harold III (Augustford)

King Harold III is the currently reigning king of Augustford. He is married to Queen Elizabeth and they are both descended from Mabinogi clan chiefs of great renown. Their daughter Princess Aurora was the victim of a kidnapping perpetrated by the neighboring kingdom of Albimonte and its despotic ruler George Thunderlord at the behest of The Theia Commerce Group and General Morin.
Harold was a lifelong friend and ally to King Alfin of Karnes. He has sworn to oppose General Morin and his Regime at every turn. Augustford provides substantial supplies and military support to the The Resistance, including the loan of units of the famed Augustford archery corps.
Harold is a large, boisterous man with an alarming mane of wild red hair. Coupled with his thick sprawling beard he often strikes onlookers as resembling a great red bear. Despite the advance of years, his great size is still largely muscle and he is well known as a former grappling champion both in his home country and abroad. He and his wife have a proud but somewhat contentious relationship with their daughter, encouraging her pursuits and achievements but often clashing over her reckless and individualistic mindset.
