Prince Alric (Karnian Royal Family/Resistance)
Alongside his sister Princess Fidelia, Alric is the future of the Karnian Royal Family. Son of King Alfin and Queen Peria, Alric was always intended to inherit the duties of ruling Karnes, sharing authority with his sister. Despite the tragic loss of his parents, Alric has grown into a careful and competent ruler in exile in Salissia. Where his sister has a force of personality that has cowed many a Duke and King, Alric has mastered the more quiet, subtle arts of negotiation and planning. From the Karnian embassy in Salissia he moves a staggering array of pieces both within and beyond Karne to achieve its eventual liberation.
Alric owes much of this skill to the tutelage of his Royal Salissian “cousin,” King Merifal. The two have grown quite close, their relationship maturing from a sort of surrogate father-uncle to sworn brothers. Though they occasionally butt heads, he and his sister are inseparably close, united by tragedy and a fierce sense of shared duty. Alric desires nothing more than a free and safe Karnes.
Alric is six feet tall with a slender, willowy build, a stronger than usual inheritance from his distant elven ancestry. His eyes have the circular iris of a human but in an unusual amber hue. He wears his auburn hair gathered in a single long queue which hangs down his back. His face is serious beyond his years and he has few unguarded moments.
