Bodrumstan

Bodrumstan is a territory straddling the nations of the Sun elves of Kingdom of Arborea and the Shadow elves Union of Molotnat.

Following the collapse of the Great Crusade and the withdrawal of the troops of the Empire, this territory which was formerly part of the Kingdom of Arborea but has declared himself independent, but still allied to the elves. Led by the people of Garowian Leonid who elect their queen.

Within Bodrumstan there are also the exiled rulers of the Principality of Tarcas (Southern Refugee), who have settled in the southern province of Pullerandum, creating their own kraal at Pretorumno.

In the northwest of Bodrumstan there are various settlements of Velshadir Shadow Elves, under the rule of the House Arras clan, which controls the underground city of Skaalluhel and the whole surrounding area.

House Arras, Might 103, is lead by Countess Erelfaen (Age 127, Power 20) of House Arras, daughter of Count Berg'ruil, whose children are Llenalla (67), Akornirra (56 ), Lltaun (33), Inoyss (11)

Structure

Higher-ranking females sit on the Garowian Council, the council is the dominant entity of all life of the Leonids, only women at the head of a tribe or a clan, can join the council and not c 'is a woman who does not dream of a seat on the council. The Matron of the Arras clan also sits on the council.

The council elects the queen, a position that lasts for life. Upon her death, the council met in the capital's palace with a great parade and ceremony and after paying great tributes to Arva, it met to appoint the new queen. Of course, great are the intrigues and the agreements that she tries to make in order to be nominated as the new queen; for this reason, only the richest families are usually those from which the queens come.

If the Queen is for any reason not able to carry out her functions, the Council appoints a Regent, usually among the oldest as they have to fill the delicate role of mediation and for their wisdom and wisdom as the role of Regent is covered in a moment of power vacuum that could open up scenarios of conflicts between the various factions.

Culture

Like the sun elves, the Leonid people worship Arva, the goddess of the sun and light, in her lion aspect and like the sun elves, the Leonids are extremely militaristic, the difference is that the Lionids have a matriarchal religious society. Women are the center of the community, they control everything from family income to rule of law.

Young males serve in the military for 40 years, after 30 years of service they become elite veterans and join one of three possible elite veteran battalions (impi): the impi of the fangs, the battalion of elite to use in battle, the impi of the fleece, the queen's parade and security battalion, the impi of the horns, the battalion of soldiers doomed to death who are assigned the tasks of infiltration and fighting at the last blood. If they survive the 40 years service they spend the rest of their lives with full honors, joining all the old males to discuss news, wars and high moral issues, while worshiping Arva in the sun, and spending the day in the city's agora.

Assets

The Leonids are divided into tribes, the largest settlement of each tribe is called a "kraal".

The kraal that is largest, richest and with the most important and developed resources and activities is the kraal in which the queen lives.

Outside of the kraals, the Leonids live in small agricultural villages defended by barracks where there are soldiers of recruit battalions, usually in the number of a platoon.

Military

Each tribe has its own army, which must be made available to the queen in case of her call, the young people on reaching the age of majority are framed in the chest and head impi, the battalions of recruits, those who are discarded farmers and artisans are put to work.

In peacetime the army is constantly subjected to training and raids against its neighbors, sometimes even rival tribes. Being part of the most valiant impi is a great pride for every warrior who fights and sacrifices himself for the name and honor of his battalion.

The military might of the Velshadir, House Arras clan of Velshadir Shadow Elves is in their "Eternal Warrior", undead wards controlled by the clan Necromancers.

Foreign Relations

Bodrumstan is part of the Arborea Alliance, and therefore has excellent relations with the Grand Duchy of Orenil and the Kingdom of Arborea.

The presence of a house Velshadir Shadow Elves sets the contrast with the rest of the Union of Molotnat, which often result in skirmishes and small clashes.

The presence of Southern Refugee, is no exception to the varied behavior of the principalities of the Susaydis League, some Principalities in the North are under the control of another queen and this causes and has caused serious clashes between them in the past.

In the Grand Duchy of Orenil lives the other "Nation of Garowian Leonid", which has a similar structure, but with references to a more purely feudal system (Barony) and which responds to Elsinor IV, Grand Duke of Orenil. Their soldiers are more framed within feudal military structures that do not provide for raids on neighbors as a form of training.

Occasionally diplomats from neighboring nations raise complaints about raids by battalions of recruits seeking glory.
