Segavlas
Segavlas is both the headquarters of the Guild of Exotic Requisitions, and the resort they run on the island. A tropical island with warm sandy beaches, the guild almost couldn't ask for a more picturesque location. They recognized this, and saw an opportunity to make some money off this place. They built a tropical resort on the island, charging exorbitant amounts for the wealthiest clients to have a vacation. Plenty of higher ups in the company also use the facilities at a steep discount.
The island itself has warm sandy beaches and a carefully cultivated jungle, filled with pretty flora and fauna and decidedly lacking in any of the ugly bits like insects and dangerous animals. Near the heart of the island is a mountain, within which lays the Guild of Exotic Requisitions home base. They keep their business carefully separated from the resort, not wanting the less savory parts of their organization to ruin the illusion they've made. Within this mountain, the Guild of Exotic Requisitions runs factories , organizes layers of bureaucracy and paperwork, and deals with their enemies.
Fauna & Flora
Very little of the original flora and fauna remain on the island, and what is there has been carefully curated. The Guild has kept the pretty stuff though, growing vibrant tropical flowers and filling the trees with colorful birds.
History
When the Guild of Exotic Requisitions first came to the surface, they decided they needed a base of operations from which to launch this new venture. After some scouting they found this island and dug their way from Deephollow to the inside of the mountain. They set up a dwarven style city within the mountain, then expanded outwards to the rest of the island. They cleared out the jungle in their way, and set up ports on half the island, keeping trade flowing in and out of their new headquarters. From those ports and the halls of the mountain, the Guild of Exotic Requisitions manages a vast intercontinental trade empire, shipping goods and gold across the world. They decided to hold back on the other side of the island however, seeing potential to monetize it in a different way. After cleaning up that half of the island they set up a resort for their employees. If their employees worked hard and made enough money, they could earn their way into a stay at Segavlas resort. This dangling carrot proved a valuable incentive, as many of the higher ups at the company took advantage of this luxury retreat while many of the grunt workers dreamed of visiting. Then the guild had a realization: we aren't the only rich people in the world, so let's sell tickets to this place. The idea of turning their private island into a tourist spot was initially divisive, but they tried it and any naysayers were silenced by the piles of gold they earned from those with too much money wanting to buy this exclusive experience.
Tourism
Segavlas is a popular tourist destination, filled with walks through the jungle, clean beaches perfect for swimming and sunning, and dozens of entertainment facilities run by the Guild of Exotic Requisitions. It's very expensive, but those who go often say it's worth every gold coin.
An average tourist's stay begins with a boat ride to the island, with even the ships being monuments of luxury and excess. The GoER keeps these ships stocked with fine food and drink, as well as live entertainment such as singing bards and theater troops. A single ship can carry hundreds of guests, so the guild doesn't usually have many. They also send more heavily armed ships along with their cruiseliners, to protect their property from pirates, sea dragons, and anything else that would see their ships as raiding targets. As the tourist reaches the island, they are met by beautiful babes and handsome hunks of every shape, size and species, so they're all but guaranteed to find someone to their taste. These escorts are paid to keep visitors distracted, keeping them drinking and partying, unaware of how much they're really spending.
Once the guest arrives, they have a plethora of options to spend their time on. Segavlas boasts beautiful sandy beaches, perfect for swimming, sunbathing and boating. The Guild also has set up several nature walks where the guest wanders through a carefully cultivated path lined with all manner of tropical flora and fauna. The Guild has also set up a variety of manmade attractions as well, from casinos to water parks to rentable flying mounts for sky tours. All at exploitatively high prices of course.
