Surcount Erno of Ingus
Surcount Erno Janne
Erno Janne is most well known as the former Surcount of Ingus, having fought in the Doric-Aijian War and lost his life at the Battle on Tolta Hill. When he passed, Erno left no apparent heirs to his titles, his only child, a daughter, too young and with little familial support to any such inheritance rights. The title of Surcount of Ingus would pass from Erno to Grand Duke Arttu I at the infamous The Procession at Ingus. There was much speculation around the lack of heirs that Erno has sired, though a handsome and competent man, his wife was widely rumoured to be unfaithful and he uninterested in her, or other women, entirely.
Erno was tremendously popular during his younger years, well regarded as an excellent swordsman, a courteous noble and truly wonderful company at feast and festivals alike. Indeed, Erno was an ardent traveller and would find himself at the courts of anyone who was anyone not just within the Doric region but, on occasion, even beyond. As such, Erno had grown to make a comfortable living just on the patronage of his hosts, with triumphs in public duels spread out in between his travels making up the rest of his enviable fortune.
