Common
Elves - Elves on Resa are divided into two subraces, wood elves and high elves. High elves have a great affinity for magic and are the most common in towns and cities. Wood elves live outside civilization in clans focusing on survival and strength
Dwarves - Dwarves are deeply entwined with the land, they've used this to become talented stone and metal workers. Many of the ancient ruins and relics across Resa can be tied back to the dwarves.
Gnomes - Gnomes are also divided into two subraces. Tinker gnomes are masters of invention and alchemy, specifically magitec. Whisper gnomes are rarer and typically live in secluded groves alongside nature.
Halflings - Phyridan created the halflings to enjoy life and teach the other prime species to do the same. Now they can be found all across Resa making music, eating, drinking, and bringing light to others.
Human - Created as jack-of-all-trades to bring the other species together, humans showed their greatest trait was their resolve during the Astral Incursion.
Orcs - A people deeply connected to the sea, they live on the ocean in large fleets or along the coastlines. Orcs of Resa heed 'The Call' that leads them to adventures and glory.
Uncommon
Goliath - Descendants of the original giants, the goliath keep to themselves in close-knit communitees and hold high reverence for Krytur and Sylvamym.
Dragonborn - Visitors from the Astral Sea, the dragonborn and their kin fought in both sides of the Astral Incursion. Stranded on Resa, some travel the world in hopes of reclaiming the remains of their draconic ancestors.
Genasi - Genasi first appeared following the Sundering as elemental energies went wild across Resa. Innately tuned to one of the four elements, genasi have sought to find their place among the other mortals.
Tiefling - Descendants of the demons that attacked during the Astral Incursion, tieflings have extraplanar blood running through their veins. Despite this many see tieflings as refugees ready to work with one another rather than invaders hellbent on their destruction.
Warforged - Built by Kirajun and the finest craftsmen in preparation for the Astral Incursion, the warforged live for a grand purpose. With the secrets of their creation lost in the Sundering, they now live racing against the clock.
Aarakocra - Created by Sollana and Siana in the image of Sylvamym, the aarakocra took to the skies after the Sundering. These bird-people have spread across Resa helping rebuild the world.
Beastwalkers - Humanoids with animalistic traits living in clans amongst nature. They were gifted with the ability to take a more bestial form to help survive the chaos of the Sundering.
Tortle - Entrusted to watch over Resa by Amajal, the tortle wander across the world with their homes on their back. Rarely settling in one place for long, a few have established monasteries along the shores.
Triton - Descendants of great warriors chosen by Amajal to fight by his side in the Astral Incursion. The triton now reside in underwater kingdoms keeping to themselves.
Kenku - Mysterious bird-like people that have no voice of their own. They instead mimic others words to communicate, with some using them to make their own voice.
Hybrids
Half-Elf - The product of an elf and human union, half-elves are plentiiful across Resa.
Half-Orc - Despite being considered a half-blood, half-orcs retain many of the physical benefits of their orcish heritage.
