Warforged

Made of stone, plants, and metal, the warforged were made by Kirajun  and the top dwarven and gnomish craftsmen in preparation for the Incursion. Every warforged is given a purpose upon their creation. Many were designed for various military purposes but craftsmen and workers were designed as well.
Warforged are powered by a crystalline matrix that would be recharged every 15 years in service. Folowing the Divine Sundering and the disappearance of Kirajun, the knowledge to replenish this life energy was lost. Warforged who exceed 15 years begin to degrade in various ways, some lose themselves and become feral creatures while some become completely inert. Warforged have learned to put themselves into a magical stasis to reserve their time.
Despite being on a race against time, many warforged help in combatting the genies released in the Sundering and rebuilding Resa. Those in stasis wait in hopes of the return of their lost knowledge. Once awoken early, warforged must find their place in the world, return to their purpose or seek a greater one.

Basic Information

Growth Rate & Stages

A typical warforged can age 15 years before needing their matrix replenished. The magic and knowledge required for this was lost during the Sundering and Kirajun's disappearance. After 15 years warforged start to degrade. You are immune to magical aging effects.
